Bracco inaugurates its new quality control laboratories in Singen with a concert by the La Scala theater Academy

Singen, Germany , 12/14/2017

A magical evening with an eminent star, the La Scala Academy Theater of Milan conducted by Maestro Pietro Mianiti, was held at the Singen Stadthalle for all of the Bracco Group’s 400 German employees and their families. This extraordinary concert was performed by an Italian orchestra made up of very talented young musicians, of which the Bracco Foundation is a Founding Partner. The event was completely dedicated to the famous overtures from the most renowned operas of the lyric repertoire; from Wagner to Verdi, from Rossini to Bellini and Mascagni, organized to mark the opening of the new Quality Control laboratories at the Bipso GmbH plant in Singen. The significant investment by the Bracco Group constitutes the first step in a much more ambitious project which, in the coming years, will result in an increase in production capacity. The new quality control laboratories, with their 2,400 square meters of space dedicated to Chemical and Microbiological analysis, are a center of technological excellence and innovation.
The Singen facility is our most important site for finished products,” stated Diana Bracco, President and CEO of the Bracco Group. “We have really focused on this plant and have invested a great deal. Because, for Bracco, quality, research and innovation are, and will always be, absolute imperatives, as will our focus on future generations. The La Scala Academy is also unique in the landscape of higher education in Europe for young musicians.
As a representative of Italy in Germany, I am especially pleased to participate in this concert here in Singen, celebrating 90 years of the Bracco Group” said the Italian Ambassador in Germany, Pietro Benassi, “Bracco is one of the most important Italian companies and among the principal examples of successful Italian investment in Germany. It is a long-established and modern company at the same time, due to the fact that it never stops investing in key areas essential to its continued development; areas like research, innovation and employee training.
The La Scala Theater Academy concert in Singen was the closing event celebrating the Bracco Group’s ninetieth anniversary. Precisely from the BIPSO site, Diana Bracco and Fulvio Renoldi Bracco delivered their Christmas greetings to all employees in Italy via live streaming.
